The impact of construction on our roads is part and parcel of new developments and thriving economies. Momentum works with contractors and local authorities to optimise construction phasing and site extents, whilst minimising the impacts of construction on the general public. We also work with private developers at the early stages of a development project to advise on temporary and permanent access options for sites with complex needs and non-standard uses such as the energy sector. We work collaboratively with all parties, and draw upon our skills in engineering, planning and analytics.
Our engineers design Chapter 8 traffic management, provide access design services, and construction support whilst our planners ensure policy compliance and develop construction management and logistics plans. This work is supported by our analysts who generate model impacts for pedestrian and vehicle networks both locally and network wide.
