Our approach to pedestrian studies aims to understand and measure pedestrian movement in dense urban spaces in order to support the design of successful and comfortable public realm. Designing and creating desirable and safe pedestrian access within our communities is critical to the long-term resilience of our cities, especially within the spaces that connect us to transport hubs, places of work and residence, and leisure venues.

At Momentum, we provide an understanding of pedestrian movement which can be used to test scenarios in a context of future growth. Our evidence-based approach to pedestrian studies has proven successful throughout our growing partnerships with architects and clients as we work diligently in cohesion to design cities which integrate communities, connect spaces, generate economic benefits and promote sustainable mobility.
