Meet our Team

Alan is an Assistant Consultant within the planning team and has previous urban planning experience in Dublin, Ireland. He joined Momentum after graduating with a BA in Political Science and Geography from Trinity College Dublin. Alan is passionate about finding sustainable and inclusive transport solutions which enhance social equity and liveability. At Momentum, Alan supports on a range of projects, including masterplanning and bespoke transport studies.

Alice is a Consultant within the Canada team. She has gained valuable experience across a range of projects within London and internationally for cultural, stadia and commercial developments. She has helped to develop transport strategies for renowned sites such as the Olympia exhibition centre, Twickenham Stadium and McGill University Campus in Montreal. Alice is passionate about finding innovative and sustainable transport solutions to improve pedestrians' and cyclists' experience.

Expertise:

Arber is an Engineer Apprentice at Momentum. Since joining in 2021 he has been involved in an array of projects ranging from Nova N2 and GSK in London to international proposals and competitions and many more. In these projects, he has explored vehicle access for building sites, traffic management, detailed design, waste management, and others.

Expertise:

Caroline provides day-to-day support for the smooth running of the office and facilities, as well as providing administrative support to our team. She also supports the IT and HR departments and is the first point of contact for Health & Safety in the office. She has a keen interest in sustainability and in making our office as environmentally friendly as possible.

Claudio, an Associate in the London office, is passionate about the relation between transport and urban planning, sustainability and inclusive cities. He has experience on transport strategies for urban master plans, development planning, major events, stadia and stations. He has recently worked on projects including Nova N2, Elizabeth House and Cardinal Place Public Realm.

Derek leads our Engineering team, drawing on his experience as a Chartered Civil Engineer delivering transport and public realm schemes across the world, from inception and planning through to design and construction. He has recently been involved in the highway works around London Victoria, Madison Square Garden’s new Stratford Arena, and UCL’s new Dementia Research Institute.

Gema is a Graphic Designer, working in Momentum’s marketing team. With a particularly keen eye for innovative visual communications, she is the guardian of Momentum's consistent brand identity. Her background in architecture drives her passion for both sustainability and forward-thinking design.

Joe is a Chartered Civil Engineer who possesses extensive experience delivering public realm schemes, including major highway designs and council projects, from feasibility through to construction. He has most recently been undertaking highways improvements for the Nova development in Victoria, London. He is passionate about providing a positive and sustainable impact to people’s lives throughout the world.

Kabil is an expert in crowd flow analysis and assessing facilities for users. An advocate of the spaces for people concept, Kabil leads the traffic and pedestrian modelling team. With experience spanning a variety of industries, from traffic engineering and transport planning to pedestrian flow assessment, Kabil's projects include Haramain High-Speed Stations, Chase Arena and San Francisco's Flower Market.

Katie is a Consultant, having joined Momentum after completing an MSc in Transport and City Planning at the Bartlett, University College London. She has previous experience in research, report writing and GIS. Katie is passionate about making transport and our cities more equitable and sustainable.

Kevin is a Consultant in our Montreal office, supporting key projects in Canada and the US. Kevin recently completed a Master’s degree in Development Project Management and has experience in transit planning and urban and environmental planning, working for local and regional municipalities.

Marie is a Consultant in the planning team. She previously contributed to projects focusing on healthy streets and the adaptation of transport infrastructures to climate change. Marie graduated with a dual MSc. in Urban Policy between Sciences Po and LSE and is passionate about micromobility and how to make cities more sustainable and inclusive.

Millie is an Assistant Consultant within the planning team and has previous experience in urban planning in Auckland, New Zealand. She is excited by projects that result in equitable and people-focused outcomes and strive to provide climate solutions. At Momentum Millie contributes to a range of projects with particular interest in the public realm.

Nick is a Senior Consultant in the London office and works with the planning team. He has a particular interest in traffic modelling and has experience working on incorporating new sustainable transport proposals, whilst minimising congestion, in City Centre locations. Since joining Momentum, Nick has contributed to a variety of projects, including masterplan and commercial developments.

Roy is a founding Director of Momentum with a passion for designing world-class transport solutions for cities. With a career spanning 40 years, his projects cross the Americas, Middle East, Asia and South Africa. In London, his experience includes the London 2012 bid and delivery, Victoria Nova and Museum of London.

Wayne is a Senior Consultant in the London office. He has strong and diverse transport planning experience of working on large multi-discipline schemes, including commercial and public sector projects ranging through estate regeneration to Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects. Wayne is passionate about design, managing the process through conception to delivery with the end user in mind.

Alex loves innovation, and is always on the lookout for new, pioneering transport solutions. His passion for sport is reflected in his drive to promote active travel and micromobility. Alex has worked at a global level and has developed a broad range of masterplanning and development planning project experience, with particular specialisms in London based development planning, and global masterplan and design competitions with internationally acclaimed architects.

Expertise:

Amelie, Director of the Montreal office, continues to build on her experience working across a variety of projects including residential, commercial, cultural and educational. With a keen interest in an improved walking and cycling experience among cities, her work has included the redevelopment of the Flower Market in San Francisco, the Museum of London and the campus redevelopment of LSE.

Barnaby is a Senior Consultant within our planning team with a particular interest in active travel and emerging transport modes, and how these can provide us with more liveable and sustainable cities. Since joining Momentum, he has worked on a variety of schemes focused on commercial development, logistics hubs and micromobility.

Carys is an Assistant Consultant within the Canada team. She joined Momentum after graduating with a MEng degree in Civil Engineering with a Modern Language. Carys is passionate about promoting low-carbon and accessible modes of transport that contribute to healthier and more sustainable lifestyles.

Dave manages a range of transport and development planning projects. With combined experience from both the public and private sector, Dave has gained knowledge of a wide variety of development types and scale. He has enjoyed working on various developments in central and greater London that extend from feasibility through to planning and construction logistics support.

Emma, Principal Consultant in the London office, has contributed to commercial and residential developments including Heathrow Expansion, Cundy Street and Elizabeth House. Emma is passionate about creating sustainable developments and is particularly interested in how transport can contribute to sustainable improvements to the public realm.

Jamie is an Assistant Consultant within the planning team. He joined Momentum after studying BA International Development and MA Development Studies at the University of Sussex where he developed an interest in cities and planning. He has a particular interest in providing active transport and accessible areas of green space.

John is a qualified Civil Engineer who has worked in Australia, Ireland and the UK. His knowledge in the traffic engineering and transport planning sector developed on numerous projects for private developers and government agencies, across varied industry sectors. At Momentum, he manages projects, from mixed use developments; to the master planning for large residential schemes.

Kana is a Senior Consultant in the planning team and has worked on a range of projects with both private and public sector clients, including the Olympia redevelopment, Brabazon Masterplan and Phoenix Road greening scheme. Kana graduated with an MSc in Sustainable Urbanism and is passionate about the decarbonisation of the transport sector through sustainable and inclusive solutions.

Katie is a Senior Consultant within the planning team. She has worked as an urban planner in both London and New York and is excited by climate-forward projects that also spearhead community development. During her MSc in Regional and Urban Planning she researched the social dimensions of green infrastructure. At Momentum she contributes to transport solutions which improve air quality, reduce highway congestion and foster more equitable, people-centred places.

Laura, Momentum’s HR manager and Board Member holds a fellowship to the CIPD and is a Person Centred Counsellor.  Her experience spans Airports, Retail, and various consultancies where the people agenda has been at the heart of the organisation.

Natasha has expanded her public sector experience of delivering cycling, public realm and regeneration schemes to development and master planning projects. Her recent projects include the UCL Institute of Neurology and Dementia Research Institute, a commercial and retail development at 1 Leadenhall and a hotel and office in Hammersmith.

Nico joined Momentum in October 2022 and sits in the planning team. Prior to this, he managed research projects for think tank Centre for London. Nico is passionate about creating new developments that nudge us toward making sustainable choices, and that are accessible to everyone.

Priyanka, Engineer at Momentum likes to deliver creative, intelligent, and sustainable solutions to urban transport issues. Since joining, she has been involved in preparing S278 drawings for Olympia, Phoenix Road for designing public realm and site access strategies along with vehicle tracking. She enjoys working on projects requiring people-friendly designs of streets and places.

Tobias, has experience working on a variety of public and private sector highway improvement schemes and construction logistics. Currently, he is working on London based projects involving vehicle access, temporary traffic management and street lighting designs. His interests include how cities are designed and function, and he enjoys finding innovative engineering solutions that improve urban environments.

Will, a founding Director at Momentum, has delivered services across a diverse range of projects. He enjoys solving involved challenges in complex physical and political spaces. This has included delivering major international sports and entertainment venues, leading cultural institutions, and residential masterplans for likes of Stonehenge, MSG Sphere and London Stadium.

Alex graduated from LSE with an MSc in Regional and Urban Planning Studies. During university, Alex was involved in a research partnership program with Momentum on the introduction of the Birmingham Clean Air Zone. Since joining, he has worked on projects involving Waste Management Strategies, Construction Logistics, E-Scooters and Public Transport Mapping.

Aparna is a Consultant in our modelling team, specialising in pedestrian modelling of train/metro stations. Since joining Momentum she has been involved in the Stratford Station project. Aparna is passionate about delivering exceptional pedestrian experience within any built environment.

A versatile transport planner, Ben has both managed and supported on a diverse range of projects across private and public sectors. In his work with local authorities in London and nationally, Ben has been responsible for the development of policies, strategies and supporting information, in addition to offering recommendations and guidance to decision makers to help shape delivery.

David is a founding Director of Momentum who continues to build his wealth of experience on commercial, residential and retail development projects. Having led our projects on Nova Victoria, 21 Moorfields and Cundy Street Quarter, he relishes solving the most challenging transport problems to provide high quality spaces for people to enjoy.

Florence is an Assistant Consultant within the Canada team. She joined Momentum after graduating with a BA degree in Urban Studies and Political Science from McGill University, where she developed an interest in active transportation. Passionate about improving cyclists’ and pedestrians’ experiences in cities, she aspires to make the urban environment more inclusive and sustainable.

Jeremy has experience in concept through to detailed design on infrastructure projects, working in both the UK and Australia. His design experience spans across disciplines and includes road geometry, earthworks, utilities, active travel infrastructure and road safety. Jeremy is passionate about delivering optimal solutions to complex transport problems, with a particular focus on safety and efficiency for the end user travel experience. He has also completed volunteering work for Engineers Without Borders in India.

Jonathan is an Assistant Engineer who has joined Momentum after completing an MEng (Civil) with a focus on Transportation at Stellenbosch University. Jonathan has a passion for contributing towards innovative and sustainable engineering solutions that improve the safety and integration of all transport modes.

Kate is an Assistant Consultant within the planning team. She joined Momentum after graduating with a BA degree in Geography from Newcastle University. Kate is passionate about sustainability, with an interest in active travel modes and creating better user experience within our cities.

Ken is a Senior Engineer at Momentum who has worked on a variety of highways and infrastructure projects, from public realm regenerations within urban environments through to major strategic highways projects. He has most recently been involved in supporting with the construction works for 1 Leadenhall. He is passionate about placemaking and creating inclusive and user-friendly outdoor spaces.

Louis is an Assistant Engineer at Momentum. Since joining, he has been involved in masterplan highway design, vehicle access for residential and commercial development, waste management and servicing strategies, construction logistics, temporary traffic management and detailed highway design. He enjoys working with our collaborative team to develop innovative and sustainable solutions.

Michael is an Associate with experience across a wide range of projects. Michael specialises in the planning for and delivery of new stadia, as well as developing transport and crowd strategies for existing stadia and major events. He has most recently been involved in the planning for both the proposed Madison Square Garden London Arena and YTL Bristol Arena.

Niamh is a Senior Engineer that enjoys focusing on the design of an inclusive, walkable and cycle-friendly London. She has contributed this passion to a number of commercial and residential schemes across the city. Niamh has also been involved in exciting stadia projects for the 2022 World Cup and the MSG Sphere, designing for accessible crowd flow.

Pablo is an economist with a master’s in urban planning. He is particularly interested in transport and transit development, and he has worked with a diversity of clients, including master planning and micromobility development projects in Québec, Ontario and the United Kingdom.

Rebecca is an Assistant Consultant within the planning team. She joined Momentum after completing a BA degree in Geography from the University of Cambridge, and an MSc degree in Sustainable Cities from King’s College London. Rebecca is passionate about creating spaces which are accessible and inclusive through the promotion of sustainable transportation.

Sarah works across the full strategic marketing portfolio including brand; PR and media relations; thought leadership; content; events; and digital marketing. She brings her experience gained across several market sectors to ensure Momentum maintains a client-centric marketing programme. Sarah is a Chartered Marketer and a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Tom, a Principal Engineer, has worked on projects within London and North America. These have involved sports stadia, highways engineering and construction logistics. Tom’s interest in improving people’s interaction with the urban environment is evident in his experience on Madison Square Garden’s Stratford Arena, No. 1 Leadenhall and the Museum of London.

Will is a Principal Consultant and Transport Modeller, specialising in the pedestrian modelling of a range of environments such as sports stadia and underground stations. Recent project highlights include the pedestrian modelling of MSG Sphere London, Museum of London and Wembley Stadium.
