Project context
From feasibility stage onwards, Momentum has provided transport consultancy services for this site within the City of London. The development comprises a 54-storey office-led tower, as well as an associated cultural building and publicly accessible cycle hub, with a resolution to grant consent passed in January 2025.
Our work
Beginning at the feasibility stage Momentum has worked closely with architects RSHP and the wider design team to ensure the scheme design accommodates all relevant transport-related requirements. This included advising on cycle parking provision, pedestrian routing analysis, delivery and servicing strategies, and associated highways works for the scheme.
Client outcomes
The approved scheme provides much-needed additional pedestrian routes through the site, connecting Liverpool Street with the City Cluster. Momentum engaged extensively with the City of London and TfL to ensure that these routes aligned with wider aspirations for the area, and that the associated highways works allow for a significant improvement in the quality of the pedestrian experience.
