Lansdowne 2.0 Phases 1 and 2
Supporting UN Sustainable Development Goals

Project context
The City of Ottawa is redeveloping the Lansdowne stadium and complex, which includes the redevelopment of the north stadium stands (11,200 seated capacity) and event centre (5,500 seated capacity) in Phases 1 and 2, and the addition of two new residential towers and businesses in Phase 3.
Our work
Momentum completed Transportation Impact Assessments and updated the TDMs for Phases 1 and 2. The multi-modal level of service (MMLOS) analysis included complex trip generation and Synchro analyses for 16 intersections across 26 operational scenarios. Momentum also supported the design of loading bays and site circulation.
Client outcomes
The Lansdowne 2.0 Phase 1 has received Site Plan Approval and Tender Issuance. Momentum’s in-depth knowledge of the site, prior experience with the Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group, and interdisciplinary expertise enabled support in crowd flow modelling, loading bay design, and site circulation, delivering a coordinated plan for the client.
