Molson
Supporting UN Sustainable Development Goals
Project context
The Molson redevelopment transforms a historic brewery site in Montréal into a mixed-use neighbourhood integrating residential, commercial, civic, and public spaces. The project aims to blend heritage conservation with sustainable mobility and urban design, creating a connected, human-scale district aligned with the city’s long-term development vision.
Our work
Momentum conducted traffic, pedestrian and cycling flow analyses across surrounding corridors and intersections. The team developed mobility success conditions, advised on intersection design, shared streets and parking strategies, and supported workshops to guide a multimodal, efficient and safe transportation framework for the Quartier des Brasseurs redevelopment.
Client outcomes
The study provided Montoni with clear strategies to ensure sustainable mobility and efficient circulation within the redevelopment. The recommendations informed design and policy decisions that improved connectivity, minimized congestion and advanced Montréal’s goals for active, low-carbon and inclusive urban transportation.
