New graduate recruits join Momentum
The graduates, who have recently completed studies in urban design and city planning, urban policy, geography, transport planning and civil engineering will be based at Momentum’s London office. They will take up positions as assistant consultants, within Momentum’s planning and modelling teams, and assistant engineers working on a variety of client projects including research, analysis, forecasting and highway design work.
The six graduates joining Momentum in 2019 are: Luke Garrod, Elena Soboleva, Syifa Hykmanto, Sixtine Le Bourdonnec, Niamh Sutherland and Emma Lally.
All of the graduates will work within Momentum’s integrated team of planners, engineers and analysts who work collaboratively with clients and design teams to create transport strategies integral to every aspect of the built environment. Through the graduate training scheme they are offered real project work, career development, structured technical and non-technical training, support for professional qualifications and access to professional development opportunities such as membership of relevant organisations including the Institution of Civil Engineers, the Transport Planning Society, Women in Engineering and Women in Transport.
Laura Davis, HR manager at Momentum said: “As a young and growing company our future is being built around a team of the very best people. Offering recent graduates opportunities through our training programme is a great way for us to achieve that and also to realise their enthusiasm and passion for the urban built environment, transport and highway engineering and its challenges.”
