Testament to our understanding of the operational needs which occur within various airport lounges and security terminals, our expertise in modelling and crowd flow management was called upon to help improve the dwell time seen by passengers in the retail units and seating areas in the international departure lounge.
Keen to achieve a noticeable Return On Investment (ROI), our team modelled the airport’s end to end passenger security operation that informed the investment in additional security capacity. This investment then contributed to a significantly reduced average dwell time for passengers at the security terminals, whilst an increase in passengers utilising the retail and lounge areas on the airside was recorded, providing commercial benefits to the airport.
