Progressive transport planning and urban design involves understanding the link between transport and land use, and the future shape of our towns and cities. It’s critical to the future of the economy, the way we live and work, and how we tackle climate change.

We work with clients throughout their planning stages (and beyond) to consider the impacts a building or development will have, and how transport and connectivity can be integrated into their design. Crucially, through our in-depth policy knowledge, we’re able to support our clients’ successful negotiations on the most challenging and iconic developments in order to meet local authority requirements and achieve planning consent.

With a focus toward sustainable transport strategies, we look to introduce measures that encourage the use of public and active transport. Assessing each site on its own merits, we consider ways to influence a change towards more sustainable transport through design, consultation and operational measures.
