Project context

Our client required a review of its current crowd management operation to support an overarching crowd management strategy to discharge planning conditions to extend the venue, and to provide insights into future crowd monitoring technologies.

Our work

We completed quantitative and qualitative data collection through pedestrian surveys and analysis, and interviews and engagement with key internal stakeholders. Static pedestrian modelling for various event scenarios and crowd management recommendations were also carried out, and a framework for future crowd management planning was provided for our client.

Client outcomes

A bespoke approach to crowd management strategy and recommendations for the future, delivered through engagement with stakeholders and an understanding of current operations.
