Project context
A new office development in the City of London, with four street frontages including Farringdon Road, a TfL red route. The project has markedly improved the pedestrian experience, cycle parking and servicing flows in this particularly busy part of the City.
Our work
From Stage 3 to completion, Momentum provided transport inputs into design development, construction access and management, and highway licences (stopping up, oversailing and undersailing). Our highways engineering team worked with both TfL and the City of London to upgrade the surrounding public realm and street lighting, delivering significant improvements to the pedestrian experience.
Client outcomes
The project benefitted from Momentum’s extensive experience of working in the City of London, and working closely with City officers and Transport for London, to deliver against their objectives to promote sustainable transport and to design accessible and healthy streets.
